Krissy Kemp

Krissy began her journey in mental wellness through education in the field of psychology in 1999.  She has worked in various roles in education, social services, and in academic advising in higher educaion. After taking some time away to focus on homeschooling and her health, her focus shifted back to her original interests in mental and holistic health and wellness.

Her renewed interest came after her long journey with loss and grief, trauma, and the ensuing psychosomatic illness and neurobiological impacts of stress and trauma.  This journey took her to the Amazon rainforest to shamanic plant medicines several times, to Vipassana and TM meditation, and finally to both traditional and LENS neurofeedback as well as many other holistic and alternative practitioners and modalities.  She healed of many illnesses including a degenerative neurological condition, mental illness, environmental illness, and autoimmune. Her personal journey has informed her passion for the LENS technology and attributes it as the main instrument along with meditation in the turnaround of her physical and mental wellness.  For Krissy, the LENS is an answer to her prayers.  Not only for herself but she prayed specifically for technology if one existed, that could assist in freeing people of suppression from pain and traumas.

In 2024, she opened her practice NeuroLumina Wellness, specializing in the profound neuro technology of LENS neurofeedback therapy. The following year and ongoing, she began her training as a LENS technician under Daphne Waldo, President of the Oachs Labs in California.

Krissy’s She is thrilled to bring this technology to the Murfreesboro area and help people to heal body, mind, and soul without having to travel to the ends of the earth and endure the traumatic and excruciating healing modalities she tried to become free of the blocks and suppression of trauma that laid hold of her.  “People can become freed gently and lovingly with this sacred technology”, says Krissy.
